Dr. Ley joins us from Denver, CO where he founded Mile High Dentistry and was a trusted name and voice among the dental community for nearly 20 year as evidenced by being nominated for four consecutive years into the 5280 magazine Top Dentists issue.
He is passionate about serving people both professionally and personally. As a second generation dentist, he always admired the way his father was able to impact the lives of so many people in a positive way. Dr. Ley received his BS degree in biology from Colorado State University and earned his doctorate degree in dentistry from Creighton University in Nebraska. He is a strong advocate in pursuing advanced education and training to keep up with the most recent technology, techniques and treatment options for his patient by attending programs such as the prestigious KOIS Center in Seattle, DSD (Digital Smile Design), Implant Pathways to stay up on the latest trends in implant dentistry, SPEAR education in Scottsdale AZ and active with the AACA (American Academy of Clear Aligner) for the latest in Invisalign technology. This commitment to lifelong education means he is constantly evaluating emerging dental trends and technologies in order to provide his patients with the best results and predictability, with a high emphasis on comfort.
Dr. Ley believes in helping the underserved and underprivileged as he recently had the pleasure of traveling to Uganda and South Sudan to provide dental services for a refugee camp. ”What an experience , it most certainly changes your perspective about life!”Looking forward to providing that same level of compassion and integrity to the Tucson area and building trusting long lasting relationships.
Outside of the world of dentistry you can find Dr. Ley on the golf course, a mountainside whether it be hiking or skiing, local coffee shops and restaurants, listening to music, and spending time with his wife and family.
Dr. Sean Ham is a Tucson native. He attended Ironwood Ridge High School and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona. At the UofA, Dr. Ham completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in undergrad, Dr. Ham also played for the UofA’s Club Ultimate Frisbee team, Sunburn.
Upon graduation he was accepted to the prestigious 3-year program at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Ham graduated with honors and was awarded the Henry Sutro Award for Clinical Excellence. Both during and after dental school, Dr. Ham competed in the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) as a professional frisbee player. He played for the San Jose Spiders and San Diego Growlers and in 2015 won the National Championship.
Dr. Ham attended dental school on a Health Services Collegiate Program Scholarship for the U.S. Navy and upon graduation commissioned as a United States Naval Dental Officer. He did additional training in the Navy’s “credentialing program” while serving at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, addressing the dental needs of marine recruits in Bootcamp. Dr. Ham finished out his time in the Navy as the Dental Department Head Afloat USS Tripoli LHA 7, where he served as the ship’s dentist for a nearly 1200-person crew.
Sean is married to his high school sweetheart, Kirsten, and has two beautiful daughters, London and Madeline. They enjoy hiking together and love exploring the various mountain ranges in Tucson.
Dr. Christian Rivera was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in Agua Prieta, Sonora—right on the border with Douglas, Arizona. He comes from a family of six children, including being part of a set of triplets. He was deeply inspired by his father, a general surgeon, whose lifelong commitment to serving others left a strong impact on Dr. Rivera and his siblings. That legacy of compassion and community service is a guiding force behind his approach to dentistry.
Dr. Rivera’s interest in dentistry began during his own orthodontic experience as a teenager. Seeing how a healthier smile could transform confidence and overall well-being sparked his desire to enter the dental field and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Linguistics with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Arizona. In 2015, he began his dental education at the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, spending two years in Kirksville mastering pre-clinical sciences before moving to St. Louis to complete his clinical training while providing care to underserved communities
After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Rivera practiced in McAllen, Texas before moving to Tucson. During his years serving both communities, he provided care to many underserved patients, an experience that deepened his commitment to patient-centered, and comprehensive dentistry.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Pima Study Club, Southern Arizona Study Club and the Hispanic Dental Association. Dr. Rivera is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate dentistry tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Outside the office, Dr. Rivera enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his wife, staying active through sports, and cheering on his favorite football, soccer, and baseball teams.
Julie was born and raised in Tucson and is a fifth generation Arizonan. She started as a Dental Assistant in 1998 and spent 20 years chairside. In 2019 Julie had the opportunity to move to the front office where she has grown in her knowledge of insurance and business management. When not at the dental office she enjoys spending time and going on adventures with her husband, two children, and dog.
Erica was born and raised in Tucson. She has been married for 21 years and has four children, two boys, two girls, and a fur baby. Erica enjoys spending time with her family, attending Sunday Mass, camping, and being outdoors. Crafting is her therapy. She has been in the dental field for 10 years, starting as a back office Dental Assistant in Pediatrics.
Born and raised in Tucson, Yahilyn has been part of the dental field since 2019, starting her career as a back office assistant before moving into her current role as Front Office Coordinator at Orange Grove Dental. She is the friendly first point of contact for patients, managing scheduling, insurance, and communications with warmth and efficiency. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and caring for her fur baby, Luna.
Born and raised in Arizona, Kyanna has been part of the Dental Front Office since 2020 and has gained helpful experience in the back office as well. She enjoys staying busy and is currently pursuing a degree in law. Outside of work, she is a licensed and certified lash technician who sees clients after office hours, and she also runs her own sweet-treat business. In her free time, she loves preparing for pageants and is proud to have held the titles of Miss Oro Valley Latina 2023 and Miss Tucson Latina 2024. Her drive, professionalism, and passion for helping others shine through in everything she does—both inside and outside the office.
Skylar was born in Tucson and definitely feels that the desert is home. She has been a Dental Hygienist since 2019 and couldn't imagine not working with teeth, she has such a passion for what she does! Skylar has many fur babies at home that she loves to spend time with. When she is not cleaning teeth, she's usually at home working on some kind of home improvement project, or out on a drive somewhere, enjoying our beautiful Arizona!
Veronica was born in California but grew up in Michigan. She is a licensed dental hygienist dedicated to providing patients with exceptional care and helping them feel confident in their smiles. Veronica chose this profession because she values the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's well-being. She takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for patients while educating them on the importance of preventive care. In addition to clinical practice, Veronica enjoys giving back through volunteer work in the dental field, as it allows her to extend her skill to those in need. Outside of work, Veronica loves spending time with her family and exploring new places. Some of her family's favorite activities include traveling, hiking, playing sports, and RV trips around the United States.
Yesenia is a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 12 years of experience in dental hygiene. She is a dedicated and skilled professional committed to helping patients achieve optimal oral health through gentle, compassionate care. She prides herself on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. Outside the clinic, Yesenia enjoys staying active with her three daughters, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places through travel.
Susan is a Registered Dental Hygienist and graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services. She is passionate about the connection between oral health and overall well-being, providing evidence-based, preventive care to empower her patients. Susan combines clinical excellence with true compassion to ensure every patient receives customized support. Outside the office, she loves spending time with her family and giving back to the community.
Eileen was born and raised in Noglas, Arizona and has lived in Tucson since 2007. Eileen received her assistant certification at Pima Medical Institute and has been assisting for 18 years. She enjoys working with a great team at Orange Grove Dental who truly care for their patients. During her spare time, Eileen enjoys spending time at the beach and attending sporting events with her husband and four children.
Gisela was born in Nevada and raised in Tucson. She has been a dedicated chairside assistant for four years, balancing her career with her role as a proud mother of two. With the love and support of her husband, family remains at the heart of her life. Outside of work and family, she enjoys the energy and creativity of K-pop and the thrill of watching Formula 1 racing.
Ylianna was born and raised in Tucson and comes from a big family as the oldest of seven siblings. She is a proud mom of four and has been married for five years. Ylianna has been a dental assistant for over 12 years and truly loves what she does, especially being able to help patients every day and see them leave with a smile. In her free time, Ylianna is a big movie buff and can happily spend the day watching films ranging from old classics to new releases. She looks forward to growing with Orange Grove Dental and is grateful to be part of such a wonderful team.
